Val Notre-Dame Abbey
Located in Saint-Jean-de-Matha in the heart of Lanaudière, Val Notre-Dame Abbey is an iconic destination that combines monastic tradition, wellness tourism, and local products. We completely redesigned their website to offer a seamless, welcoming, and modern user experience. The project includes a online store, e-commerce successful initiative showcasing their artisanal products (chocolates, caramels, syrups, jams), a reservation system for spiritual retreats, as well as a dynamic showcase for outdoor activities and workshops offered by the House of the Forestibles (mushroom picking, herbalism, mountain bike trails). A minimalist, immersive design that faithfully reflects the tranquility of the setting and energizes visitor engagement.

Located in Saint-Jean-de-Matha, at the foot of Montagne-Coupée in the Lanaudière region, the’Val Notre-Dame Abbey is a Cistercian monastery of the Strict Observance (Trappist) built between 2007 and 2009. Rooted in a balanced way of life that combines prayer, work, silence, and spiritual renewal, the community welcomes visitors seeking a peaceful spiritual retreat. The abbey also stands out for its efforts to showcase the region’s treasures: it features a shop offering local specialties and artisanal treats (chocolates, caramels, jams, forest products), provides access to hiking and mountain biking trails, and offers nature discovery workshops through the Maison des Forestibles.
